What we plan to do

Information should help, not overwhelm.

The planned program will organize credible public information into accessible learning, community education, and clear referral pathways.

Plain-language education

Planned free resources will translate complex public information into clear starting points, with source and jurisdiction notices.

Public workshops

Planned accessible, nonpartisan learning sessions will help Florida communities understand civil-rights topics and referral options.

Qualified referrals

A neutral planned process will help identify outside agencies, legal-aid programs, bar services, attorneys, and established nonprofits.

How referrals would work

Neutral criteria. Clear limits. Your choice.

The planned referral service may identify outside resources based on location, issue category, publicly stated eligibility, language, and accessibility. Equal Rights Hub would not receive referral fees or guarantee acceptance, availability, cost, or results.

Important boundary

Educational information is not legal advice.

Equal Rights Hub is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or representation, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Laws and deadlines vary by jurisdiction and may change. Referrals depend on provider availability and eligibility. No outcome is promised or guaranteed.

If a matter may be urgent or time-sensitive, contact a licensed attorney, qualified legal-aid provider, or the appropriate government agency promptly. Call 911 for immediate danger.

Planned resource standard

Readable, source-aware, and honest about limits.

  • Plain-language explanations with descriptive headings.
  • Jurisdiction notices on nationwide educational content.
  • Clear signals for when qualified individual help is appropriate.
  • Accessible formats and reasonable accommodations when practical.
  • Corrections and review notes as the public library develops.
